People actually WANT to be sold to
People actually want to be sold to.
They don't call it being sold to, they call it having their problem solved.
For example you know how laundry day comes around and sure enough, you seem to lose one of your socks each time you do laundry. And it frikkin sucks because you love your socks and you plan out your sock day very carefully.
And where do those socks even go? How do they escape? It's the worst.
Now what if I told you: I have a way to make it so you never lose your socks ever?
You want that problem solved right?
That's what a good sales person does.
It has nothing to do with pressuring people to buy something. It has everything to do with identifying their existing struggle, and not only solving their problem, but doing it in a warm, friendly, or inspiring way.
So if you can actually, honestly, genuinely, in a non-creepy way solve someone's problem, they want to be sold to.
Bam! Now go and do it!
