4 questions I’m using to beat burnout

I’m the kind of hyper-driven person who’s super used to burning out.

In fact I’m so used to it that for years I’ve been finding ways to stop burning out while working for myself.

I want to actually gain energy throughout my work day, not feel drained like I usually do.

The problem is, when I feel burned out I usually turn to two stress addictions. Food and Netflix.

So I came up with 4 easy questions to ask myself when I’m feeling burned out.

Am I hungry?

Am I thirsty?

Am I tired?

Am I excited?

Instead of just defaulting to food and Netflix, I’m trying to get more accurate with my actual needs.

And I’m finding that often I’m tired, thirsty for water, or feel excited about the work I just did and want some way to express it other than stuffing it with food.

I invite you to try these questions out yourself and give yourself the right kind of energy to avoid burnout.
